Tom`s Drive-Ins in Appleton

A favorite stop every time I'm back in Appleton. Food is amazing. Love the cheese curds.

We have ALWAYS loved going to Tom's - all locations. Your popcorn is a favorite. But recently, we have gone to two different locations in Appleton and we were very concerned. NO ONE wears a mask. The drive up window people are not in a mask, none of the prep workers were in masks or gloves. We are both high risk and this was troubling to see. So during this pandemic, we are no longer going to any Tom's location unless a mandatory mask and gloves policy is put in place. It is for the health of your own workers and the health of your customers.

Tom's is pretty good. Prices are low.

Double cheeseburger and Fries were Excellent! Fries were crispy and well done. Burger had good flavor. Will definitely stop again next time we are in Appleton!

I usually love Tom's but this was a horrible experience (westhill blvd)...The guy taking my order didnt even let me finish ordering before he was telling me my total. Then he told me I couldn't upgrade my drink, something I do every time I go. I ordered the Perchwich meal. I didnt get the sauce on the side I asked for and paid for, I didnt get cheese or lettuce on my sandwich, and I didnt get my fries. My ice cream was literly pouring out the top all down the side and he shut the window on me before I could even say anything...this was after he ASKED ME IF I WANTED MY CHANGE BACK for no reason at all.

Consistently delicious. The employees always do a great job. My favorite aspect of the service here is the fact you can ask for a number 9 combo with fries and/or soft drink, and you won't be charged the full price of the meal because they add on to a cheaper meal to fulfill the order. That's outstanding service!

If traveling you need to stop for a local favorite. Much better than the national chains. Suggest tominator.

Very Good Food and service was excellent. Their fried pickles are really good.

I love Tom's drive in I usually always get the family pack of cheese burgers and fries very delicious and of course a banana shake.

It's a Tom's, if you don't know you best stop in. Better than fast food! Americana!

I've been going to Tom's since I was a little girl, I'm 41 now. We went to the location that used to be on the corner of Northland and Oneida on Appleton, where Dollar General is now. It was a small brown building, only a few booths. But that was our childhood treat - burgers, fries and ice cream cones. Even in my teens years, it was still a treat. It was delicious then, and it's still delicious now. I like supporting local businesses like this one. I take my family now to the one on Westhill Blvd. We LOVE the tilt a whirl seats, genuis!!

Is there such a thing as local fast food? At Tom's there is! Burgers and fries at fast food prices but with better quality than fast food combined with a varied menu entailing the likes of cheese curds, fish sandwiches, and ice cream. Tom's is an easy choice for a decent affordable meal, especially when taking the whole family.

I really love Tom's food but my stomach doesn't. Tom's used to be a regular place for us to eat when we lived in the area. Now, we visit when we come back to Appleton. Always friendly staff and clean place. Ask for extra crispy fries and they still aren't crispy 😒

Good fast food for low prices.

Overall the food is pretty good. The service however brings the rating down. The last two times I have hit the drive through at this location on the way past I ordered fries and with the meal and requested, Ketchup. Both times I ended up without.The most recent time I specifically verified that I could have ketchup with the extra fries I ordered. The cashier at the window verified “Catsup in bag”.I understand where the confusion came in when they couldn’t find the “catsup” to put in the bag but it really puts a damper on their fries that are very lightly salted to begin with when they are eaten plan.My quick drive through visit turned into a trip back into the building to grab open top ketchups trying to avoid waiting at the window for the originally requested Ketchup.— P.S. sorry for the greasy receipt, it was In the bag sitting on my open top fries when I received the food.

I went there a few days ago. None of the staff were wearing masks or gloves during this ongoing pandemic. During a pandemic i think the bar for the standard of hygiene should be higher than what was presented . Definitely lost my business. Also the food is terrible for the price. It all tastes overly processed and fake.

I love their baby twist ice cream cones, and fast service in the drive thru.

Excellent fish sandwiches. One of my favorite places to go. Love the menu items and the food is tasty and excellent. Perfect.

Friendly staff and great American classic food!

My family of 5 went through the DT and my oldest daughter (9) wanted to place the order for us. The employee was amazing and very patient with repeating the order back to make sure he heard her correct which was not easy. Thank you!!

U can make your own cheeseburgers.put bacon tomato lettuce mustard and ketchup up onions cheese mayo,pickles peppers however u want

Great burgers and perch and 9 am...nuff said.... well not really, great icecream/malts. I miss the $.99 dbl cheeseburger before 11am deal so only 4 stars

It is a nostalgic place with memories of ones childhood. Pinball machine hanging from the ceiling and carnival ride cars in the ceiling and booths! Food is average. The food reminds me of A&W without the freshly made Root Beer. And they have ice cream treats there also for deserts as well.

Food is really good but can be very pricey.

Better than average fast food, 20 plus flavors of shakes.

One of the best places to eat in Appleton. Great food and great prices. They have 2 floors of dining area and they have carnival rides inside as seating. Of course there is regular seating as well but the motif is centered around the carnival. You can choose from The Scrambler or The Tilt O Whirl. If you want very good fast food or just want to relax and dine in. Tom's Drive In is well worth the stop.

Delicious ice cream and many flavors.

All Tom's still have the best portion sizes for the money in my opinion. They also have unique atmospheres at each location. This one is sporting carnival theme with tilt-a-whirls for booths. Finish with a mini arcade for the kids.

Ordered grilled chicken sandwich came with just chicken on the bun. Very dry . Not really tasty at all. The French fries are the little skinny ones that cool off really fast. Sure they serve a goodly amount of them but when you end up not eating them what's the purpose.

Very nice nostalgia going in here the foods okay but the decide will bring you back

This location is set up pretty nicely; they have a lot of interesting tables inside. Every locations interior is different. So whenever you go inside to dine you can choose a funky table to sit at. I love ordering a box of fries with friends and I get them extra crispy!! Do delicious and so cheap.

The burges are fantastic. The cheese curds also great 👍. The have flavored milkshakes as well. Very clean. I would definitely recommend this place for fast sandwiches

Expensive for the quality i received. My gf used to work there and raved about it. So i was jazzed 2 vurger meals an cheesecurds was over 20 bucks so im like ok culvers type quality for price my gf loved it here lets do this. Then i get it look at it first thing i do is laugh. Burger dry, fries soggy an off taste, for a almost 10 dollar burger n fries ya gitta do better. Thats bar upper escelon burger pricing for quick service. But gta try stuff lol funny seein my girlfriends reaction almost see the good childhood memories of Toms just flooding out her head. Lol glad shel never ask me to go back.
